Parking
There is limited parking available in the parking lot at Gresham Main Park. Additional street parking is available. From the park you can drive 1 block north on Main Street and turn left on 1st Street, then make a right on Miller. Public Parking lots will be on your right for 3 blocks. In addition, parking is available on several side streets off of Miller.

Run/Walk Start Times:
8:30am Half-Marathon Run/Walk starts
8:45am 10K Run/Walk starts
9:00am 5 K Run/Walk starts
10:15am Kids’ 1K and 2K Runs
You will find the following along the Race Courses:
- Water stations will be available approximately every 2-3 miles.
- Also look forward to entertaining Jazz Music performed along the various courses.
- 3 First Aid Stations will be strategically positioned along all the courses presented by Adventist Medical Center
The 5K and longer events will be timed by AA Sports.
The start and finish lines for all events will be in the Gresham Main City Park. The 1K & 2K Kids Walk/Runs will be a great family event, and run after the 5K, 10K and the half-marathon so parents will have more time to get their kids to the event!! The Half-Marathon will parallel the 10K course until it gets to the 4 way split on the flank of Walter's Hill. From the 4-way the 1/2 marathoners will turn left and traverse up the hill toward the Persimmon Neighborhood. The course will come out on Regner Road for about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile and then make a left down Butler Road and through the Persimmon Neighborhood and then turn left on Hogan (242nd) Road. The remaining terrain of the 1/2 marathon will travel out and back toward Boring on the Springwater Trail and making the final turnaround just after the bridge over Telford Rd and the Springwater Trail. The final leg of the 1/2 marathon will travel back to Gresham Main Park on the Springwater Trail to the Finish Line. The 5K race course will be up and down the Springwater Trail in Gresham towards Boring. The 10K route will travel down the Springwater Trail and turn right on Regner Road and then traverse through the Gresham Greenspace over Walters Hill behind Gresham Main City Park and loop down Binford Lakes Parkway to the Binford Trail in Butler Creek Park and back to Gresham Main City Park along the Springwater Trail. The courses will be relatively flat except for the 10k and 1/2 Marathon sections that go up Walters Hill. (See accompanying elevation graphs). See the park and general area in MapQuest. Age Groups
Competition will be held in the 5K, 10K, and 1/2 Marathon events for the following men's and women's age groups: 12 years & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 years & over.
Entry Fees
- 5K Run/Walk - $20 by October 4, 2009 (With Cotton T-Shirt). Late registration is $25
- 5K Run/Walk - $30 by September 26, 2009 only (With Tech T-Shirt)
- 10K Run/Walk - $25 by October 4, 2009. (With Cotton T-Shirt). Late registration is $30
- 10K Run/Walk - $35 by September 26, 2009 only (With Tech T-Shirt)
- Half-Marathon Run/Walk is $40 by October 4, 2009. (With Cotton T-Shirt). Late registration is $45
- Half-Marathon Run/Walk - $50 by September 26, 2009 only (With Tech T-Shirt)
- The 1K and 2K Kids Runs are $12 (With Cotton T-Shirt). There are no late registration fees for the 1K and 2K races.
- The 1K and 2K Kids Runs are $22 by September 26, 2009 only (With Tech T-Shirt)

- Men’s and women’s age group detail. Each age group will be given 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes as well as Overall Male and Female winners and Overall Masters Male and Female.
- All children registered for the 1K and 2K runs will win a medal, T-shirt and receive a children’s goodie bag.
- Half-Marathon will receive a finisher medal as well.
- Many prizes will be raffled off to attending race participants.
- Pete & Brenda of Pete & Brenda In The Morning were our Awards Presentesr for the 2009 Gresham Jazz Run. Please watch for this exciting ceremony in 2010.
