Michael “Shoehorn” Conley
Shoehorn is an original performance artist who creates music with his feet and dances with his horn. Michael Shoehorn Conley has combined organic body rhythms and sophisticated jazz forms and concepts into an entertaining spectacle. While specializing in sax and tap dance, he is a multi-instrumentalist, arranger and composer, utilizing a variety of wind and percussion instruments, original poetry and songs and an ear for music from around the world. http://www.shoehornmusic.com/

Stan Bock, jazz tromboneStan Bock

Stan Bock is acclaimed as one of the Pacific Northwest’s finest jazz musicians and one of the most called-upon jazz trombonists in the region. He has been a member of the Mel Brown Septet, the Thara Memory Super Band, and as, composer and bandleader, his own Stan Bock Ensemble.

Renato Caranto, jazz saxophoneRenato Caranto

Renato Caranto is a jazz musician and the tenor saxophone is his instrument. He has performed in several major festivals in the area including the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, the Waterfront Blues Festival, and the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival. He has also recorded on dozens of CD projects in whole or as a featured soloist. Alan Jones, DrummerAlan Jones

Drummer Alan Jones is a product of the Portland music scene. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has performed and recorded extensively with his own groups and as a sideman with the likes of Dave Holland, Leroy Vinnegar, Randy Brecker, and Andrew Hill. Alan lives in Portland, where he writes for film, dance, and theatre, as well as leading the Alan Jones Sextet.
